Job summary

Kreston Reeves is seeking an Audit Assistant Manager to join our growing Audit team. You will take ownership of a portfolio of audit clients, building trusted relationships and delivering an exceptional client experience.

The role focuses on developing leadership skills and broadening technical expertise within the firm. You will plan, oversee and deliver audits, review complex work including consolidations, and coach junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified and experienced in audit leadership.
• Experience managing audit portfolios and coaching teams.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portfolio of audit clients, managing relationships and delivering a high-quality client experience.
• Plan, prioritise and oversee audit assignments from start to finish, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and within budget.
• Review and deliver complex audit work, including consolidations and technical audit areas.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication and providing proactive advice.
• Lead, coach and develop Audit Seniors, Semi Seniors and Assistants, providing clear direction and feedback.
• Monitor workflow, budgets, billing and audit file completion, ensuring deadlines and professional standards.
