Grant Thornton UK LLP is seeking an Audit Assistant Manager in our Entrepreneurial Services team. You will manage client engagements, oversee audit fieldwork, and lead onsite teams to deliver high‑quality financial statements.

A client‑centred growth mindset and PQE with ACA/ICAS/CA/ACCA/CIPFA are essential, with support across practice specialists to deliver integrated advice. The role offers flexibility with hybrid working arrangements, development programmes, and a supportive culture focused

Qualifications

• Professional qualification ACA/ICAS/CA/ACCA or CIPFA with PQE and client portfolio experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP/FRS 102 and accounting standards.
• Experience using audit software and MS Office; able to manage multiple client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Project manage client work and oversee all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion.
• Lead onsite audit teams, preparing and reviewing financial statements and updating management.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with your team and clients, providing support to junior team members.
• Continue to develop technical knowledge and contribute to the firm's quality standards.
