Job summary

Curtis Recruitment Ltd is assisting an ambitious UK accountancy practice to recruit an Audit Supervisor. The role focuses on delivering high-quality audits and statutory accounts, with hybrid working arrangements and career development opportunities.

The successful candidate will have ACA or ACCA qualifications with at least three years’ UK practice experience, strong client communication, and the ability to manage a small audit team with technical accuracy.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or ACCA with experience of leading audits.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience within a UK accountancy practice.
• Outstanding and professional service to give clients maximum value.
• Good IT skills with accounting and audit software.
• Strong analytical and research skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a mixed portfolio of small to medium sized audit clients.
• Carry out audits from planning, through to completion.
• Review work of junior team members and provide guidance.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and staff appraisals.
• Liaise with clients and HMRC; build and maintain relationships.
• Supervise and develop junior staff; handle ad hoc duties.
