Job summary

Curtis Recruitment Limited is seeking an Audit Senior for a well-established accountancy practice in Banbury. The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified with extensive UK audit experience and a track record of leading audit assignments.

Qualifications

ACA or ACCA qualified with extensive experience leading and managing audit teams.
Up-to-date knowledge of audit standards and FRS 102.
Experience in charities and accounts preparation is advantageous.
Excellent communication, organisational and client-management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Taking full responsibility for the delivery of audits for complex clients.
Planning and scoping audit assignments, allocating resources, deadlines and terms of reference.
Managing and undertaking audit assignments efficiently and effectively.
Identifying risks, evaluating controls and recommending improvements.
Liaising with Directors and clients throughout planning and delivery of audits.
Preparing clear, high-quality audit reports for Directors and clients.
Supervising junior team members and supporting directors in client management.
