Effective L&D requires dedicated resources to identify training needs and respond appropriately. It involves careful planning, project management, a strategic mindset, understanding of regulatory requirements, and leveraging latest innovations, tools, and technologies to support personalized, relevant, and timely development.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented, high-performing, and ambitious manager to join the Audit Stream L&D team during a period of strategic implementation. Working alongside our Faculty Manager, you will help execute and maintain the Faculty strategy and enhance our learning offerings, facilitating effective learning experiences. You will also support programme delivery as a facilitator. This role reports to the Business Partnering and Implementation Lead within the Learning Implementation team.

The Learning Implementation team ensures the delivery of high-quality learning experiences through effective project, risk, financial, and commercial management, including leading the Faculty proposition.

The Faculty supports programme delivery through facilitation, comprising dedicated facilitators who assist throughout the year. The Faculty Managers oversee the daily operations, onboarding, development, and evaluation of Faculty members, collaborating with the Monitoring and Reporting Team. Additionally, you will be a key member of the wider programme delivery team, contributing as an L&D facilitator and supporting project management for in-person programmes.

In the upcoming period, you will be responsible for implementing the new Faculty strategy to enhance our offerings and maintain high facilitation standards, supporting our learning culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain the Faculty strategy, ensuring it aligns with business needs and manages associated risks.
  • Coordinate Faculty activities to meet business outcomes.
  • Evaluate Faculty effectiveness, reporting challenges, successes, and solutions to leadership.
  • Support programme delivery with onsite project management and facilitation as needed.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, including liaising with People Partners on Faculty matters.
  • Monitor and report on Faculty utilization and performance, identifying risks and proposing solutions.
  • Manage the Faculty project plan with support from the Learning Implementation team.
  • Develop and support Faculty members' skills for successful programme delivery.
  • Act as a facilitator on key programmes when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with L&D to ensure sufficient facilitator support across programmes.
  • Support project management of programmes within the wider LI team.
  • Introduce innovative delivery methods to enhance learner experience.
  • Drive process simplification and standardization to improve quality and efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Manager or equivalent with a passion for Learning & Development.
  • Formal L&D qualifications are a plus but not essential.
  • Experience in delivery is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Interest in developing others through high-quality learning interventions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, problem-solving, and activity-driving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Understanding of business strategy and a focus on effective delivery.
  • Commitment to operational excellence and quality.
