We're BDO, an accountancy and business advisory firm providing the advice and solutions entrepreneurial organizations need to navigate today's changing world.
We work with Britain's economic engine—ambitious, entrepreneurial, high-growth businesses—and advise their owners and management teams.
Role Overview
The Business Partnering (BP) team plays a vital role within Learning & Development (L&D), partnering with the Audit Stream to identify learning needs and develop appropriate responses. They work closely with the business to drive the L&D agenda and coordinate with wider support teams.
The BP team acts as the voice of the business within L&D, providing oversight and challenge, and representing L&D to the business. The Business Partnering Manager for Projects will work directly with stakeholders to identify needs outside of our Early in Careers and Post-qualified curricula, often project-based, requiring coordination across core curricula and specific programs.
Using their understanding of business priorities, developed through active engagement, they will align activities across L&D offerings and wider programs, ensuring responses meet ongoing needs and are aligned with strategic goals. They will coordinate with other stakeholder groups and collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive learning needs analysis and best practice sharing.
They will work with the Learning Development team to translate business objectives into learning outcomes, oversee content development, support implementation, and review learning effectiveness. They may also support onsite program delivery and facilitate sessions where appropriate.
