The Business Partnering (BP) team plays a vital role within L&D, partnering with the Audit Stream to identify learning needs and develop appropriate responses. They work alongside the business to drive the L&D agenda and coordinate activities with wider support teams.

The BP team acts as the business voice within L&D, providing oversight and challenge as solutions are developed and implemented. They represent L&D to the business and ensure alignment with business priorities.

The Business Partnering Manager for Projects will collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs beyond our Early in Careers and Post-qualified curricula, focusing on project-based activities that require coordination across various programmes.

Using their understanding of business priorities, they will align activities across L&D offerings, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure learning needs are effectively addressed. They will work with the Learning Development team to translate business objectives into learning solutions and support the delivery and review of these initiatives.

The role involves onsite programme management and facilitation to support effective learning delivery.

In this role, you will:

  1. Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of learning initiatives aligned with business needs.
  2. Advocate for business needs within L&D, ensuring responses support organizational goals.
  3. Act as a subject matter expert, advising business leaders on learning solutions.
  4. Report on progress against plans to stakeholders.
  5. Provide objective challenge and act as a sounding board for learning needs and responses.
  6. Promote L&D activities to foster a learning culture.
  7. Support the delivery of the Audit L&D curriculum.
  8. Build strategic relationships with the Audit Stream and wider business to align L&D initiatives.
  9. Coordinate learning needs analysis and curriculum planning with stakeholders.
  10. Support onsite delivery and facilitation of programmes.
  11. Bring innovative thinking to develop professional development initiatives.
  12. Champion change and lead by example.

Required skills and experience include:

  1. Management experience or equivalent.
  2. Strong understanding of Audit and regulatory environment.
  3. Previous L&D experience preferred.
  4. Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
  5. Proven stakeholder influence and project management skills.
  6. Experience in programme facilitation is beneficial.
  7. Problem-solving skills focused on commercial solutions.
  8. Teamwork, coaching, and leadership abilities.
  9. Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  10. Understanding of business strategy and goals.
  11. Focus on operational excellence and quality.
