EQ Accountants, part of the Sumer Group, is seeking an Audit Senior in Scotland to develop business partnering and commercial finance skills while applying data analysis to client engagements. You will play a front-facing role, shaping audit plans and ensuring quality and compliance across assignments.

You will lead fieldwork, coach junior auditors, communicate clearly with clients and managers, and build trusted relationships by understanding client processes and industry challenges.

Formación

• Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, ICAS or similar) is required.
• Experience in a similar audit role is essential.
• Experience managing junior team members is preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with management to develop audit plans considering objectives, risks, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify areas of concern or non-compliance.
• Lead and supervise audit juniors during fieldwork, ensuring timelines and quality standards.
• Analyze audit findings and provide actionable recommendations.
• Build and maintain client relationships by understanding their processes and industry challenges.
• Communicate audit objectives, scope and progress to clients and to the Audit Manager and Partner.
• Review and sign off documentation for accuracy and compliance with standards.
