Qualifications

• Hold a professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, ICAS, or similar).
• Experience within a similar role.
• Ability to manage junior team members’ work and performance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management to develop audit plans considering objectives and risks.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential concerns or non-compliance.
• Shape audit procedures and testing methodologies for consistent coverage.
• Lead and supervise audit juniors during fieldwork, meeting timelines and quality standards.
• Analyse findings, identify weaknesses, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Build relationships with clients by understanding their processes and challenges.
• Communicate audit objectives and progress to clients and superiors.
• Address client questions and requests promptly to maintain trust.
• Develop client confidence by offering insights to improve internal controls.
• Delegate work appropriately and provide coaching to juniors.
• Review documentation for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Foster an inclusive, knowledge-sharing environment across assignments.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
