Job summary

Sheridan Maine London is seeking an Audit Semi Senior to join our growing accountancy practice in Central London on a permanent, full-time basis with hybrid working. The role focuses on planning and delivering audit fieldwork, preparing statutory accounts and working closely with Audit Seniors, Managers and Partners.

Part-qualified ACA or ACCA candidates who are keen to progress will be supported with mentoring and development.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified ACA or ACCA with audit experience.
• Experience in accountancy practice audit.
• Strong communication and analytical ability.
• Progress towards full qualification and willingness to develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing audit assignments for a portfolio of clients.
• Conduct audit fieldwork both remotely and on client sites.
• Prepare audit files and statutory accounts with working papers.
• Identify audit risks and report findings to senior team members.
• Liaise with client staff to obtain information and resolve queries.
• Support on training and mentoring junior team members.
