Job summary

Sheridan Maine London is recruiting an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join a Central London accountancy practice. You will split your workload between statutory audits and accounts preparation for a varied client portfolio, contributing to high-quality financial statements.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years' UK practice experience and study toward ACA or ACCA, with strong numerical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of UK accountancy practice experience.
• Studying towards ACA or ACCA qualifications.
• Solid understanding of accounting and auditing principles.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with audits from planning through to completion.
• Prepare statutory accounts for a range of clients (Ltds and owner-managed businesses).
• Support the preparation of corporation tax computations and returns.
• Prepare working papers ensuring compliance with accounting and auditing standards.
• Liaise with clients to obtain information and resolve queries.
• Work with senior colleagues to meet deadlines and maintain quality.
