Job summary

Cooper Parry is seeking an Audit Semi Senior in the Midlands to join our Tech & High Growth team. You’ll audit fast-growing startups and scaleups, delivering high-quality results with a collaborative, dynamic group.

You’ll work with managers and partners to grow your career, gain exposure to diverse clients, and contribute to a culture of learning, openness, and support. This role offers flexible working arrangements and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Part ACA / ACCA qualified or equivalent with at least 2 years' experience working in Audit
• Interest in Tech & High Growth companies is desirable
• Eager to learn and develop yourself

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to meet deadlines and exceed client demands
• Manage several priorities to deliver high quality results
• Proactively following up on review points and complete them timely
• Plan and organise to ensure client work is within timescales and provide updates
• Ensure audit procedures and accounts preparation are accurate
• Seek guidance from colleagues and managers when required
• Problem solve to clear audit issues and meet expectations
• Develop through feedback and support from line manager

We have an opportunity for you to work within our ground-breaking Tech & High Growth team. We provide a combined and seamless service of Audit and Early Stage teams working together as a unit to put growing companies in the best position to fly.

We see our clients' success as our success, and we are looking for an ambitious Audit Semi Senior's who seeks the thrill of seeing how their hard work directly impacts their clients.

About the day to day

• Working as part of a team to meet deadlines and contribute to help the team to meet its objectives and ensure client demands are exceeded
• Managing several priorities to deliver high quality results
• Proactively following up on review points raised by the senior or manager and complete them in a timely manner
• Effectively planning and organising to ensure all client work is carried out within the appropriate timescales set by the manager and providing regular updates to the manager without being prompted
• Having technical expertise to ensure audit procedures performed are conducted to correct standard and accounts preparation is accurate
• Being confident to seek guidance and support from colleagues and managers when required
• Problem solving to clear audit issues and be flexible to meet manager and client expectations
• Managing your feedback and development, seek support from your line manager, and be open and honest

The role will also be designed to help you grow and develop through your career journey. With access to a wide range of knowledge to help push yourself further - from Managers to Partners, the team are always happy to support you.

• Part ACA / ACCA qualified or equivalent with at least 2 years' experience working in Audit

• A keen interest in working with Tech & High Growth companies (experience in this area is desirable)
• Eager to learn and develop yourself
