Job summary

Cooper Parry is seeking an Audit Semi Senior to join our Tech & High Growth team in the Midlands. The role involves assisting in integrated audit and early-stage client work for rapidly growing startups and scaleups, with opportunities to grow alongside Partners and Managers.

You will manage multiple priorities, maintain high-quality deliverables, and develop your technical expertise while embracing the firm’s collaborative culture and flexible working approach.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent with at least 2 years’ experience working in Audit.
• Interest in Tech & High Growth companies (desirable).
• Eager to learn and develop professionally.
• Strong numerical ability and personality fit.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to meet deadlines and client demands.
• Manage several priorities to deliver high-quality audit results.
• Follow up on review points raised by seniors/managers promptly.
• Plan and organise work to meet timescales and provide regular updates to managers.
• Apply audit procedures to required standards and assist with accounts preparation.
• Seek guidance when needed and proactively resolve issues with the team.

We have an opportunity for you to work within our ground-breaking Tech & High Growth team. We provide a combined and seamless service of Audit and Early Stage teams working together as a unit to put growing companies in the best position to fly.

We see our clients’ success as our success, and we are looking for an ambitious Audit Semi Senior's who seeks the thrill of seeing how their hard work directly impacts their clients.

About the day to day…

• Working as part of a team to meet deadlines and contribute to help the team to meet its objectives and ensure client demands are exceeded
• Managing several priorities to deliver high quality results
• Proactively following up on review points raised by the senior or manager and complete them in a timely manner
• Effectively planning and organising to ensure all client work is carried out within the appropriate timescales set by the manager and providing regular updates to the manager without being prompted
• Having technical expertise to ensure audit procedures performed are conducted to correct standard and accounts preparation is accurate
• Being confident to seek guidance and support from colleagues and managers when required
• Problem solving to clear audit issues and be flexible to meet manager and client expectations
• Managing your feedback and development, seek support from your line manager, and be open and honest

The role will also be designed to help you grow and develop through your career journey. With access to a wide range of knowledge to help push yourself further - from Managers to Partners, the team are always happy to support you.
