The Quality Review & Support team (QRST) within the Audit Quality Department (AQD) supports our audit specialists by performing independent quality reviews, assisting with complex enquiries, and helping meet reporting requirements. As part of this team, you'll develop your technical skills, find solutions to complex audit issues, and contribute to delivering high-quality audits.

You'll be proactive, manage your tasks independently, collaborate effectively, and communicate with Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners. You'll ensure accurate reporting and deliver long-term value.

We seek a Senior Manager with Financial Services experience to join the QRST team. Your role involves reviewing public interest entity audits, challenging audit processes, coaching teams, and contributing to audit quality initiatives.

• Perform reviews at all audit stages, identifying quality improvements
• Determine review focus areas and coordinate with the QRST Director
• Engage with teams on audit quality matters and develop improvement strategies
• Challenge audit procedures and documentation
• Support teams with audit quality enhancements
• Identify issues requiring firm-wide action
• Contribute to training and guidance development
• Address ad hoc audit quality queries with practical solutions
• Participate in broader audit quality initiatives led by the Audit Quality Improvement team

You'll be someone with:

• A keen interest in Audit Quality
• Extensive practical and technical audit experience, especially on complex audits
• Good knowledge of IFRS
• Ability to challenge and influence senior and peer professionals
• Innovative thinking to improve audit quality

• Desirable: experience in audit quality reviews
