A leading professional body is seeking an Audit Quality Review Specialist to enhance their oversight of audit practices and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This full-time position requires a member of a recognized accountancy body and at least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience. The role is fully remote with travel required across Ireland, focusing on inspections, evaluations, and reporting improvements in quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong grasp of professional, technical, and ethical standards.
• Full clean driver’s license and ability to travel across Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections and monitoring visits to member firms.
• Evaluate firms’ processes, compliance, and governance against professional standards.
• Produce detailed reports with findings, insights, and recommendations.
• Interview firm principals and team members to understand practices and controls.

About You

• Member of a Recognised Accountancy or Supervisory Body

Your Responsibilities
