PRO-TAX RECRUITMENT LIMITED in Stockport is seeking an Audit Senior to join a leading accountancy and business advisory firm. You will plan and execute audits, lead assignments, and help develop trainees, while working with a diverse client portfolio across various sectors.

The role offers a competitive salary (£42,000 - £48,000), a hybrid and flexible working arrangement, and opportunities for ongoing learning and progression within the practice.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification, or part-qualified.
• External audit experience in practice.
• Experience with owner-managed businesses is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute audits from start to finish.
• Lead on audit assignments and supervise onsite teams.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Be the main point of contact for clients during engagements.
• Coach and develop trainees and junior staff.
• Ensure audits are delivered to a high professional standard.
