Abacus Careers is seeking an accomplished Audit Partner/Director to lead a high-performing audit practice in Northern Ireland. The role requires extensive post-qualification experience, RI status, and a track record in guiding complex audits for SME clients.

The successful candidate will shape strategy, drive business development, and mentor senior audit teams while maintaining top-tier client relationships and ensuring compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA with extensive post-qualification audit experience.
• RI status already held or eligible to obtain.
• Proven track record leading complex audits for SME clients.
• Experience leading and mentoring teams.
• Strong IFRS, UK GAAP knowledge and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic direction of the audit practice.
• Lead business development to grow the practice and client base.
• Mentor high-performing audit teams and uphold quality standards.
