Job Description

We're seeking a talented individual to join our ABS Training and Development team. As an Audit Manager - Technical Training and Development, you will play a key role in training staff to manage the firm's regulatory and reputational risk in an increasingly challenging environment.

Our national team, comprising staff and volunteers, works closely with audit teams to deliver continuous, relevant practical training. We are part of the Assurance Technical and Training (ATAT) and collaborate with Learning and Development to provide a cohesive service.

Responsibilities
  1. Liaising with all stakeholders, including the Training and Development Lead, to ensure relevant training updates and feedback collection.
  2. Organising, developing, reviewing, and delivering training within agreed timelines.
  3. Preparing proposals for training development, attending internal meetings, and networking with contacts.
  4. Managing or co-managing a portfolio of audit clients to stay current with practices and issues.
Qualifications
  • Qualified by experience (ACA, CA, ACCA) with significant external audit experience in a professional services environment.
  • Knowledge of accounting and auditing standards and their application.
  • Understanding of skill requirements across various staff levels.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
