Job Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our ABS Training and Development team as an Audit Manager - Technical Training and Development. This role involves training staff to manage regulatory and reputational risks, working closely with audit teams, and developing practical training programs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure relevant training and feedback are managed effectively
  • Organizing, developing, reviewing, and delivering training within set timelines
  • Preparing proposals for training development, attending meetings, and building a network of contacts
  • Managing a portfolio of audit clients to stay updated on current practices and issues
Qualifications:

Qualified by experience (ACA, CA, ACCA) with significant external audit experience in a professional services environment. Good knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, industry specifics, and staff skill requirements. Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Desired Skills:

Experience in developing and delivering practical training, a passion for developing people and improving audit quality, and the ability to develop and present high-level audit content tailored to business needs.
