Job summary

Mellis Blue Limited is seeking a Permanent Audit Manager to join our Middlesex-based team. You will be responsible for managing audits from start to finish, handling a range of clients including substantial trading companies and charities, and acting as the sole reviewer to ensure quality and efficiency.

Depending on level, you will lead or manage audits from planning through to completion, with opportunities to develop sector specialisms, progress quickly, and take ownership of client

Qualifications

• ACA / ACCA qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and/or lead statutory audits from planning through to completion.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships throughout the year.
• Coordinate audit teams and ensure work is delivered on time and within budget.
• Act as main point of contact for clients with proactive and solutions-focused service.
• Review audit work and financial statements in line with UK GAAP and sector requirements.
• Prepare and present audit findings to senior management, Audit Committees and Boards.
• Support business development activity and proposals for new client opportunities.
• Opportunity to participate in wider assurance and advisory work as experience grows.
