Job summary

Mellis Blue Limited is seeking a highly skilled Audit Senior in Oxfordshire to join our client’s dynamic team on a permanent basis. You will oversee audits for a diverse portfolio, support Directors in planning, assess risks and strengthen internal controls.

We value experience leading audit teams, deep knowledge of audit standards including FRS 102, and the ability to manage junior colleagues while liaising with clients and delivering high-quality reports to Directors.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Proven experience leading audit teams.
• Strong knowledge of audit standards and best practice.
• Experience with FRS 102 and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in a busy accountancy practice.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for delivering audits for complex clients.
• Plan and scope audit assignments, allocate resources and set deadlines.
• Manage and undertake audits within the required standards and deadlines.
• Identify risks to business objectives and evaluate internal controls.
• Liaise with Directors and clients on findings and actions.
• Prepare clear, high-quality audit reports for Directors and clients.
• Contribute to developing audit and assurance policies and procedures.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.
• Provide financial information and guidance to clients.
