Job summary

Verelogic Ltd in Manchester is seeking an Audit Manager to lead a portfolio of audit engagements for a key client base. The role requires strong technical proficiency with ISAs, delivery on time and budget, and the ability to supervise and develop audit teams.

You will act as a primary client contact, manage expectations, identify value-add opportunities, uphold professional standards, and collaborate across the firm to ensure consistent service delivery.

Qualifications

• ACA/ ACCA qualified or equivalent required.
• Minimum 7 years audit experience with 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience managing an audit portfolio and maintaining client relationships.
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of audit engagements ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and high-quality work.
• Maintain ISAs compliance and prepare files for Senior Manager and RI review.
• Lead engagement planning, execution, review and completion, including budgeting and fee targets.
• Act as primary client contact, manage stakeholders, and identify opportunities to add value.
