Vaisto Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Audit Manager/Senior Manager for our Liverpool office. The role involves overseeing a diverse portfolio of audit clients from planning through to completion, with a focus on delivering high-quality, commercially aware audit and advisory services.

You will lead audit assignments, review files, and act as the main client contact, while mentoring junior staff and driving business development within the practice.

Formación

• Experience in managing audit portfolios and leading teams.
• Strong technical audit background with UK GAAP/UK auditing standards knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines and budget expectations.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a varied portfolio of audit clients and oversee assignments from planning to completion.
• Lead audit assignments at client premises and in-office, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Review audit files and financial statements to ensure compliance with standards.
• Act as primary client contact, building relationships and providing practical advice.
• Manage budgets, deadlines, resources and workflow to maximise efficiency and profitability.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members and contribute to staff development.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes and systems.
