Job summary

Duncan & Toplis is seeking an experienced Assurance Manager to support high-quality assurance and compliance processes across the company. The role can be based in our Derby or Newark office, with flexibility to visit both locations as required.

As part of the management team, you will assist directors with assurance and commercial advice, while supporting your teams to deliver work to meet objectives and deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2 years UK-based Audit Manager experience in client-facing role.
• People management experience.
• Business development skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive in management of fees targets.
• Confidence in communication with clients.
• Time management of work in progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist directors to provide assurance and commercial advice to clients.
• Support teams in delivering their work to meet operational objectives.
• Collaborate with colleagues and senior managers to ensure effective assurance processes.
• Lead and coach the team with clear direction and feedback while meeting deadlines.
• Develop relationships with clients to identify opportunities and cross-sell services.
