Job summary

The Accountancy Practice Recruiter is assisting a range of North West accountancy practices in filling Audit Manager roles. These positions cover firms from Top 20 to strong regional independents, with audits from planning through to completion and a focus on client relationships and team development.

ACCA or ACA qualification and solid external audit experience are preferred. Right to work in the UK without sponsorship is required.

Qualifications

• Manage a portfolio of external audit clients.
• Take responsibility for audits from planning through to completion.
• Review audit files to ensure standards are met.
• Build strong relationships with clients and act as a key contact.
• Coach and develop junior and qualified audit team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, deadlines and WIP.
• Identify opportunities to add value for clients and deepen relationships.
• Collaborate with Partners and Directors on complex assignments.
• Contribute to growth of the audit department.
