About the Role

Our client, a forward-thinking and tech-driven accountancy practice based in Warrington, with a team of 20 staff including 7 qualified accountants and 4 directors, is seeking a hands-on Audit Manager. The firm embraces modern systems and processes, offering a supportive and collaborative environment for audit professionals aiming to grow. This role is ideal for an experienced Audit Manager or a strong Audit Senior ready to step up, with opportunities to gain RI status in the future.

Role Overview

• Lead and manage audits from planning through to completion.
• Supervise a small audit team (currently 2 staff).
• Review audit files ensuring quality and compliance.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and directors.
• Utilize the firm's technology-first audit approach.
• Contribute to business development initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Extensive experience in UK practice audit.
• Ability to deliver full audit engagements with minimal oversight.
• Interest in pursuing RI status.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
• Working hours: Monday to Thursday 9:00am-5:30pm (45 mins lunch), Friday 9:00am-4:00pm.
