Job summary

RSM UK is recruiting for a graduate programme in external audit. You will work with audit teams to review clients’ financial records, build confidence with stakeholders, and start studying towards the Chartered Accountant qualification from day one.

You’ll join a programme that puts you on client sites and in office settings, with structured training and a path to independent project work. Start date is 14 September 2027, and you’ll be supported throughout the qualification journey.

Qualifications

• UCAS points requirements: 112 UCAS across three A levels (or equivalent) or 104 UCAS across four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers (or Irish Leaving Certificate).
• Honours degree (obtained or predicted).
• Right to live and work in the UK for this role.
• Effective written and verbal communication to convey complex information clearly.
• Ability to analyse and interpret data to solve problems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and stay calm under pressure.
• Genuine interest in business and commerce with strong organisational and time management.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-focused reviews of clients’ financial records, processes, and controls.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial statements and build trust with stakeholders.
• Study towards Chartered Accountant qualification and take first exams early on.
• Join client work from day one and progress to individual project responsibilities.
• Work with a wide variety of clients from owner-managed businesses to large listed groups, charities and pension schemes.
