White Hart, a Chartered Accountants and Statutory Auditors firm based in Richmond, Surrey, is seeking an Audit Associate to join its Audit & Assurance team. This entry-level role offers a funded ACA/ACCA training contract and hands-on client exposure from day one.

You will work alongside Audit Seniors and Managers on live engagements, gaining broad exposure to diverse client portfolios in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• A degree (2:1 or above) or equivalent qualification.
• No prior audit experience required; experience in finance or client-facing roles is advantageous.
• Commitment to studying towards the ACA or ACCA and entering a training contract.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of statutory audits from planning through to completion.
• Prepare sections of the audit file accurately and on time.
• Perform substantive and controls testing under guidance of Audit Senior.
• Obtain and document audit evidence in line with ISAs (UK).
• Raise queries with clients professionally and escalate when needed.
• Develop knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102/105) and CaseWare use.
• Engage with your qualification in practical client work.
• Seek feedback and take ownership of your development.
