Job summary

A leading and successful chartered accountancy practice in Canterbury is seeking an Audit Assistant Manager to join their growing team. You will oversee the delivery of high-quality audit and accounts services and lead wider project work, reporting to the Partner and engaging with clients directly.

The role requires ACA/ACCA qualification or qualification by experience, extensive audit experience in a practice environment, and a proactive, adaptable approach.

Qualifications

• ACA/ ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
• Extensive audit experience in a practice environment.
• Confident in delivering exceptional client service and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with clients and managing client expectations.
• Organising and running accounting and audit assignments for the portfolio.
• Supervising and reviewing staff output, primarily accounts for audit production.
• Reporting directly to the Partner and attending client meetings.
• Reviewing accounts and corporation tax deliverables.
• Working within an existing team of Managers and Partners to develop the office and team.
