Job summary

Crowe Watson Recruitment is partnering with a leading Chartered Accountants firm in Cardiff to recruit an Audit Assistant Manager. The role involves planning, executing and finalising audits across a diverse client base, with hybrid working and progression towards Manager level.

The successful candidate will support junior staff, liaise with clients, and contribute to delivering high-quality audit services within a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Hands-on audit planning, execution and finalisation of assignments.
• Strong technical audit knowledge including UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to manage and develop junior staff.
• Experience in a UK practice environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and complete audit assignments for a varied client portfolio.
• Review work of junior team members on-site and remotely.
• Liaise directly with clients to build strong working relationships.
• Report audit findings to Partners and Managers with clear recommendations.
• Support training and development of trainee staff.
