Job summary

Sargeant Partnership in the United Kingdom is seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior to join our growing team. You will work with managers and directors to deliver statutory accounts and audits across our client base, and support corporation tax processes.

The role offers a mix of responsibility and support, with coaching duties for trainees and opportunities to lead ad hoc projects such as management accounts and budgets while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

Be ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified or qualified by experience.
Have at least 4 years experience working in auditing and accountancy.
Experience of preparing management accounts, cashflows, budgets.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Deliver statutory accounts and audits across our client base to completion.
Lead the audit team to deliver high quality audits and manage engagement risk.
Oversee corporation tax processes for companies/groups.
Coach, lead and develop a team of trainees and semi-seniors.
Undertake ad hoc projects for clients – management accounts, budgets, and variance analysis.
