Job summary

Sargeant Partnerhship Group Limited is seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior to join our expanding team in the UK. The role offers exposure to a varied client base and opportunities to further develop skills and experience.

You will work with managers and directors on statutory accounts and audits, lead the audit team, and coach trainees. The position also involves managing corporation tax processes and undertaking ad hoc projects for clients, such as management accounts and budgets.

Qualifications

We are seeking a motivated and experienced person to join our growing team as an Audit & Accounts Senior.

This role offers a good mix of responsibility and support, with exposure to a varied client base and the opportunity to continue developing your skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with managers and directors to deliver statutory accounts and audits across our client base To completion of Corporation tax processes for companies/groups Lead the audit team to deliver high quality audits Coach, lead and develop a team of trainees and semi-seniors Undertaking ad hoc projects for clients – management accounts, budgets, etc. Working at a high standard to provide the service expected by our clients.

Skills & Experience Required

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in a similar accountancy and audit role, with knowledge of statutory accounts preparation, audit and corporation tax, together with experience of accountancy software. In addition, you will possess the following skills and experience:

• Be ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified or qualified by experience Have at least 4 years experience working in auditing and accountancy Experience of preparing management accounts, cashflows, budgets Excellent written and spoken communication skills Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
