SI Recruitment Limited is seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior for an established accounting practice in Horsforth, Leeds. You will lead statutory audits, prepare year-end accounts, and support tax computations while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience in an accountancy practice
• Strong experience in accounts preparation is essential
• Audit experience is desirable but not essential
• AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified/part-qualified is preferred
• Experience with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Confident working independently and supervising junior colleagues

Audit & Accounts Senior

Location: Horsforth, Leeds

Salary: £25,000£39,000 per annum, depending on experience

An established and growing accountancy practice is looking for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join its team, with excellent opportunities for career progression into a management position.

The Role

Youll take responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients, including:

• Leading statutory audit assignments
• Preparing year-end statutory accounts, including group accounts
• Drafting corporation tax computations
• Supervising and supporting junior team members and trainees
• Assisting with bookkeeping, VAT and client accounting software
• Supporting ad hoc work including tax planning, valuations and due diligence

About You
