Job summary

Butler Rose Public Practice is supporting an established six-partner accountancy firm in Barnet with the recruitment of an Audit & Accounts Manager/Assistant Manager.

This is a chance to lead audits from planning through to completion, develop junior staff, and work with partners to deliver high-quality client service. Iris software experience is essential, with clear career progression and flexible working options.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification is essential.
• Minimum of 2 years in a Senior level role at a UK accounting practice.
• Experience managing audits from planning through to completion.
• Strong accounts and audit file review experience.
• The ability to manage, support and develop junior staff.
• Experience using Iris software for accounts and tax return preparation.

Responsibilities

• Manage audits from planning through to completion.
• Review accounts and audit files on behalf of the partners.
• Prepare accounts and tax returns using Iris software.
• Work closely with the partners to deliver a high-quality service to clients.
