Job summary

Butler Rose in Leeds is seeking an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager/Manager to lead audit assignments from planning through to completion. You will manage a portfolio of clients across industries, review files for quality and compliance, and ensure delivery within budget and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent, or substantial practice experience.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Experience supervising audit and accounts assignments.

Responsibilities

• Manage audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Review audit files and financial statements for quality and compliance.
• Identify risks and communicate findings to clients.
• Deliver assignments within budget and deadlines.
• Prepare and review statutory and management accounts.
• Provide practical accounting and tax advice to clients.
• Coach and mentor junior staff and allocate work.
• Support Partners/Directors with client development.
