Job summary

Butler Rose Public Practice, a well-established three-partner firm in Central London, is seeking an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior for a hybrid City of London role.

Split 40% audit and 60% accounts, the position offers client-facing responsibilities, study support, a competitive salary, and progression within a supportive, close-knit practice.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA part-qualified.
• Minimum 3 years' experience within practice.
• Experience across both audit and accounts (ideally 40% audit/60% accounts).
• Confident managing client relationships and being client facing.
• Excellent communication skills with a professional and personable approach.
• Experience with IRIS software beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist on audits from planning through to completion
• Prepare statutory accounts, bookkeeping, and tax compliance work for a varied client portfolio
• Working directly with clients

Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a well-established and friendly 3-partner firm based in Central London in their search for an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking step into a hands on role across audit and accounts within a close-knit and supportive environment. The role offers a 40% audit and 60% accounts splits alongside the opportunity to work with a varied portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist on audits from planning through to completion
• Prepare statutory accounts, bookkeeping, and tax compliance work for a varied client portfolio
• Working directly with clients
• Represent the firm professionally across client engagements

Key Requirements

• ACA or ACCA part-qualified
