Working within our Digital Creative Services group, the primary purpose of this role is to support and develop the conferencing requirements of all STFC departments based at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. You will need good IT skills to support in-person events and the ability to set up and manage virtual events on various cloud platforms.
Large-format poster printing is a key function, requiring the use of a Raster Image Processor, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat. Our Digital Services group is a shared capability within STFC, so building good working relationships is essential.
We also support photography and video for STFC, offering opportunities to develop these skills if interested.
If you have an aptitude and desire to progress your career with STFC, you can benefit from training and guidance for career development. Opportunities include developing technical skills through autonomous projects and participating in Degree Apprenticeship programmes.
You will be part of a team supporting existing systems and designing new/upgraded systems to support the organisation's activities, within a collaborative culture.
