Job summary

Audio Visual Installation Engineer role with Alecto Recruitment in London.

Join a dedicated installation team handling high-end residential projects, home cinema builds and full 1st/2nd fix wiring across sites around London. You will install audio, visual, and home automation systems, patch panels, cabling and rack builds, with training provided for industry standards. Experience in AV installations preferred; electrical improver/apprentice electrician also considered.

Qualifications

• Experience in audio visual installations is preferred.
• Electrical improver/apprentice electrician background welcomed; full training provided.
• Passion for technology and home automation.

Responsibilities

• Install audio, visual and full home automation systems on project sites around London.
• Work on 1st and 2nd fix; install patch panels, control panels and cable terminations.
• Terminate cables; work with CAT5/CAT6 and RJ45; rack builds and cable labelling.
• Install Lutron and Control4 products, and set up home cinema systems.

Audio Visual Installation Engineer

Alecto Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Audio Visual Installation Engineer to work within the high-end residential sector.

This is a superb position with a company who will offer on-going training and development. The business has been established for over 10 years and is regarded as a strong integrator.

The Role:

• The position will be working within a dedicated installation team, working on project sites around London


• You will be installation specialist audio, visual and full home automation systems


• Being involved in Home cinema builds


• Working across 1st fix and 2nd fix


• Patch panel / control panel installations and wiring


• Termination of cables


• Working with CAT5 / CAT6 Cables, along with RJ45


• Rack builds / labelling cables


• Installing lutron systems


• Installing control4 products

The position will suit someone with a passion for technology. Ideally you will have experience within the audio visual industries completing installations.

Equally, any experience as an electrical improver, apprentice electrician and being involved in 1st fix and 2nd fix, cable terminations is suitable, as full industry training will be provided.
