Job summary

Alecto Recruitment is seeking a Junior AV Installation Engineer for roles in London and surrounding home counties. You will join a growing Audio Visual and Home Automation team, installing cat5e/cat6 cabling, home cinema, multi-room audio and CCTV systems across prestigious properties.

No prior AV experience required; full training will be provided. Ideal candidates include electricians, data cabling engineers, and junior installers eager to learn and develop hands-on skills in Control4, Lutron

Qualifications

• 1st Fix and 2nd Fix installation experience
• CAT5e/CAT6 cabling experience
• RJ45 termination skills
• Patch panel installation and testing
• Electrical installation knowledge
• CCTV, Intruder Alarm or Access Control experience
• Strong practical and problem-solving skills
• Experience installing or supporting AV systems

• Cable pulling and containment installation
• Cable termination and testing
• RJ45 terminations and networking infrastructure

No previous AV experience is essential. If you have the right technical background, practical skills, and willingness to learn, full training will be provided.
