Job summary

Alecto Recruitment is partnering with an established AV and Smart Home technology specialist to recruit an AV Engineer for London/Southeast projects. You will install, configure, and maintain integrated AV solutions across luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality settings, collaborating with project teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous AV installation experience essential.
• Strong understanding of AV systems, equipment and installation best practices.
• Knowledge of networking, HDBaseT, and AV infrastructure technologies.
• Ability to configure, troubleshoot, and fault-find AV systems effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain AV systems across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
• Complete installation works including displays, audio systems, equipment racks, CCTV, and associated technologies.
• Support AV and IT infrastructure installations, including networking, structured cabling, and HDBaseT systems.
• Carry out fault finding, servicing, maintenance, and remedial works on existing client systems.
• Work closely with project managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver projects on time and to the highest standard.
• Ensure installations are completed professionally, safely, and in line with company quality standards.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
• Full UK Driving Licence required

Desirable

• Experience with Lutron lighting control systems
• Experience with Savant automation platforms
• CEDIA training or certifications
• Manufacturer accreditations or certifications
• CSCS Card or relevant site qualifications
