A national AV engineering company in Sheffield is looking for an AV Engineer who will be pivotal in delivering high-quality installations and ensuring project success. You will need experience in AV systems and a strong ability to solve problems and communicate effectively with all stakeholders. This role requires travel across the UK for projects, with expenses covered. Qualifications

• Experience in the Audio Visual industry, with a strong background in AV systems and integration.
• Proven track record of working hands on from 1st fix through to commissioning.
• Deep understanding of AV technologies including video distribution, networking, audio processing, projection, and display systems.

Description du poste

As one of our AV Engineers, you’ll play a key role in shaping and supporting our expert installation and service engineering team. Living our Customer First value, you’ll ensure every project is delivered to the highest technical standards, with quality, care, and attention at the heart of everything we do.

You’ll work closely with our Engineering Management team, Chief Engineer, and Project Managers, bringing a Smart and Commercial mindset to every decision ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and right first time.

This is a national role, so you’ll need to be comfortable travelling across the UK, staying away from home between 1 to 4 nights per week, depending on project requirements. What you’ll bring

• Experience in the Audio Visual industry, with a strong background in AV systems and integration.
• Proven track record of working hands on from 1st fix through to commissioning
• Deep understanding of AV technologies including video distribution, networking, audio processing, projection, and display systems
• Strong organisational skills
• Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• Confident communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
• Willingness to travel UK-wide, including overnight stays and occasional weekends / OOH.
