proAV in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join the Egham team, responsible for integrating AV systems on construction site fitouts, new builds, and occupied client sites. You will work with Project Delivery teams to produce test and verification documentation and support project closeout, ensuring smooth handovers to service teams.

Our immediate requirement is for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to be a key part of our Egham team, representing proAV, taking full responsibility for integrating Audio Visual (AV) systems on construction site fitouts, new builds, and existing occupied client sites. This role requires a deep understanding of AV technologies and their convergence with IT networks.
Commissioning Engineers are expected to display a high level of client, consultant and contractor communication. They should also manage situations and challenges in a calm, methodical and relationship enhancing manor. They will work alongside Project Delivery teams and project support departments, to deliver successful projects.
Commissioning Engineers will produce test and verification documentation for all projects as prescribed by a Commissioning Manager. They will also assist in the development and inform strategic improvements based on continuous analysis of project deliverables and outcomes reporting and offering this back to the Commissioning Manger(s).
Commissioning Engineers are responsible for the closeout of projects as allocated: They will work in cohesion with the project closeout teams, effectively communicating and developing direction for onsite operations. Collaboration with all project departments is key from pre-sales through to onsite deployment teams with mind to feedback information gained from deployment teams back into presale.
Creating and maintaining a direct dialogue and relationship with Service and Support teams, to assist, educate and inform for a seamless transition to support.
When required Commissioning Engineers will be expected to assist with service calls enhancing the ability of our service teams. This role encompasses fulfilling system programming tasks as required. The applicant is expected to undertake programming tasks utilising a range of platforms and languages as part of their role.
