Job summary

BBC Audio in Salford is offering a Junior Production Coordinator Apprenticeship (Level 4) on a fixed-term, full-time basis for 17 months. You’ll learn on the job, support Production Teams, and work towards an industry-recognised qualification.

This apprenticeship provides hands-on experience in production management, including scheduling, staffing, budgeting, and studio/locations coordination, with opportunities to progress within BBC teams.

Qualifications

Be 18 years old or over by September 2027.
Have lived in the UK continuously for the last three years.
Be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK.
Not currently be enrolled in another apprenticeship.
Not already hold a qualification in the same subject area at the same or a higher level.

Responsibilities

Support Production Management/Business Teams in planning and coordination of productions and shows.
Work on location supporting Outside Broadcasts.
Help ensure Production Paperwork is completed & Rights are cleared/reported correctly.
Work on staffing rotas and managing staff leave.
Book transport and accommodation.
Support budget management and process payments using BBC Systems.
Support the setup and coordination of BBC equipment, including laptops, mobile devices and access to BBC systems.
Learn best practices in health & safety, and compliance.
