Job summary

BBC Audio in Salford is offering a Fixed-term Apprenticeship (17 months) as a Junior Production Coordinator Apprentice. You’ll learn on-the-job while working toward an apprenticeship qualification, supporting production management and coordination across on-location and studio work.

This entry-level role is open to non-graduates and focuses on developing organisational and logistical skills, with opportunities to progress into Production Coordinator roles within BBC.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years old or over by the start of the apprenticeship and eligible to work in the UK.
• Non-graduates welcome to apply, with the opportunity to develop production management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Production Management/Business Teams in planning and coordination of productions and shows
• Work on location supporting Outside Broadcasts
• Help ensure Production Paperwork is completed & that all Rights are cleared/reported correctly
• Work on staffing rotas and managing staff leave
• Book transport and accommodation
• Support budget management and process payments using BBC Systems
• Support the setup and coordination of BBC equipment, including laptops, mobile devices and access to BBC systems
• Learn best practices in health & safety, and compliance
