Job summary

Hyve Group Ltd is seeking an ambitious Audience Development Lead to drive retailer and brand engagement across Shoptalk Events and related properties. You will build and secure the delegate network for senior retailers and brands and expand existing accounts while winning new ones.

You’ll operate across multiple conferences, using calls, video, email, social and in‑person outreach to reach attendees and partners, hitting targets and growing the community efficiently.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a quota-carrying sales, business development or account executive role in events, retail or SaaS.
• A track record of beating targets across multiple products and regions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, with confident presentation to C-suite.

Responsibilities

• Hit weekly and monthly attendee acquisition and revenue targets, tracking registrations and building contingency plans to protect KPIs.
• Identify and acquire qualified senior executives for Hosted Buyer Programs and other ticket products.
• Grow key accounts by deepening relationships and opening new ones across retail and consumer brands.
• Prospect actively by phone, email, and social channels to secure registrations and paid tickets.
• Engage senior and C-suite executives, understanding priorities and showing how Hyve’s portfolio connects to the retail ecosystem.
• Design and launch new engagement methods to drive community growth.
• Build advocates to engage the community and maintain a social presence for the brand.
• Keep abreast of retail, ecommerce and consumer goods trends for roadmap input.
• Own the full sales cycle from first contact to post-show feedback and CRM updates.
