The successful candidatewill play a key role in supporting pupils and families, helping to removebarriers to attendance and ensuring that every pupil has the best opportunityto achieve their full potential. Working closely with Academy staff,parents/carers and the Education Welfare Officer, you will help create aculture where attendance matters and every day counts.
As Attendance Officer, youwill play a vital role in promoting excellent attendance and punctuality acrossthe Academy and help identify and address barriers to attendance. You willmonitor and analyse attendance patterns, investigate persistent absence, andcoordinate interventions and strategies that improve attendance outcomes. Therole includes maintaining accurate attendance records, producing reports forleaders, undertaking or supporting home visits where appropriate, and workingcollaboratively with external agencies and the local authority.
The working pattern for therole is Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.00pm, and Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm.
