Job summary

Lincolnshire Gateway Academies Trust is seeking an Attendance Officer to promote, monitor and enforce regular attendance across its academies in New Waltham. You will work with families, staff and external agencies to remove barriers to learning and to support safeguarding across the trust.

The role is 37 hours per week, term time only (195 days), permanent, with salary range £30,213–£33,610 pro rata. DBS checks and pre-employment checks are required.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Pre-employment checks include online/social media check and references.

Responsibilities

• Promote, monitor and enforce regular attendance across academies.
• Support Heads of Year with attendance and welfare issues.
• Liaise with families, staff and external agencies to remove barriers to learning.
• Maintain accurate attendance records using MIS and report on attendance data.
• Attend meetings and reviews, advising on attendance and safeguarding concerns.
