Job summary

Darwen Aldridge Community Academy is seeking an organised Attendance Officer to support attendance monitoring and welfare across the academy. This fixed-term maternity-cover role works closely with the Assistant Principal to promote regular attendance and a positive learning environment.

You will handle administration for the Attendance Service, liaise with students, parents and staff, and contribute to safeguarding and data-informed practice.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A proactive and professional approach.
• The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Experience in administration (education setting desirable but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Support attendance data and records for students across the academy.
