Job summary

Darwen Aldridge Enterprise Studio in Darwen, Lancashire, is seeking an Attendance Officer to support the Assistant Principal by delivering high‑standard admin and attendance services, creating a safe, supportive and inclusive environment where teachers can teach and students can learn.

The role requires GCSEs including Maths and English (Grade C/5 or above), understanding of DfE attendance guidance, experience with attendance data, and effective communication with parents and multi‑agency

Qualifications

• GCSEs including Maths and English at grade C/5 or above.
• Experience analysing attendance data from multiple sources.
• Experience communicating with parents to improve attendance.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and welfare concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑standard administrative support to teaching staff.
• Monitor and report attendance data to school leadership.
• Support attendance procedures in line with DfE guidance.
