Derby City Council is seeking an Attendance Officer for City of Derby Academy, part of the Tapestry Learning Partnership. You will monitor attendance and punctuality, identify concerns early and work with students, families and staff to improve attendance outcomes.

We require compassionate, resilient individuals with strong communication and organisational skills, confident with data analysis, safeguarding and implementing interventions to reduce persistent absence and support pupil wellbeing.

Qualificações

• Compassionate and resilient with strong communication and organisational skills.
• Confident working with families and analysing attendance data.
• Understanding of safeguarding and attention to detail.
• Experience in school attendance, pastoral or welfare settings preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor attendance and punctuality and identify concerns early.
• Work with students, families, staff and external agencies to improve attendance outcomes.
• Support pupil welfare and ensure compliance with statutory attendance requirements.
